I have mine now for a few months and it's pretty sturdy. I weigh about 260lb. Easy to fold and I didn't break it yet with my fat leg lol. However, if you live on bumpy sidewalks be aware. The speed might be lower.

I'm 6' and 249 lbs and bought it for traveling around town, the motor is powerful, I can even ride it on a pretty decent incline. Fast speed, brakes well, very stable. It's exactly as described.

Great purchase wiht this scooter, powerful motor mode is a significant boost of power. Easily tackles hills in power mode and accelerates much more quickly.

It is a suspension scooter that glides with ease and can go pretty fast, so sturdy and smooth! I can get on it with no problems and it rolled fine. The scooter itself is not too heavy and the model is stylish with excellent construction. Nothing flimsy about this scooter. Wheels roll true and are solid. If you have no experience riding a kick scooter, I think you'll be pleased to discover that the low platform and sturdy construction will make you feel quite confident in a very short time. I love how easy this scooter is to fold down so that I can stash it in the car beside the kids' scooters to take to the walking trail. This TurborAnt V8 scooter has surpassed all my expectations, and is full of happy surprises!! If you are a big boy searching for a scooter and are worried, don't be cause gosh dang this boy is a beast! I'm a disabled veteran and weigh 240lbs. I bought this scooter so I could roll around the zoo, parks, neighborhood, etc with the family, it works great for that, and now I use it instead of my car most of the time. The scooter is much more substantial than I expected; it's rather heavy to lift in and out of a trunk frequently, so I keep it parked just inside the door, but it folds up very easily. This scooter holds me on Eco Mode I go 6 mph, on Comfort Mode about 9mph, and on Sport Mode goes about max 20mph, but holy moly it's fast. To be honest, I wouldn't want to go any faster as it's intense. This can go about 50 miles on Comfort Mode and that's pretty far to be honest depending on your commute. It's a lot of fun and the lights on it are amazing for night rides, especially for cars. Because the running lights, turn signals, and brake lights are very visible in traffic. It's clear everything on this scooter was very well thought out: solid tires to avoid flats, disc brakes work great, and the headlight, brake light, and ambient lights are easy to see. The 3-speed function is awesome, and the dual suspension with the spring action seat post makes the ride very comfortable. I love the cruise control also - it works at any speed! Although I actually had to read the owner's manual to turn it on, from walking with my 12-year-old at 3mph to cruising to the store at 28mph, the cruise control is awesome. In addition, the V8 electric scooter's 450W motor provides a lot of power. The strong motivation has made me more confident to face all kinds of road conditions, which is an experience I have never experienced before. I love this machine. However, it does ride a bit rough on gravel but that's due to the all-solid wheels instead of tube tires. I think it's a great trade-off as you don't have to worry about flat tires or air pressure. This scooter is great fun to ride, has long range, and charges quickly. Overall if you debating on this scooter just get it. It's better than most and especially for big boys and girls it's more than perfect! At the same time, I would like to mention that there are a couple of minor negative points: 1) the digital display is great at night, but the brightness level is not adjustable. 2) I think that the user manual is not so easy to understand. 3) the scooter does not have a seat. As this scooter can run for a really long range of 50 miles, standing on the scooter for a long time might get tiring and intense. I would recommend upgrading the scooter and adding a seat on the scooter. If TurborAnt can improve scooters in the future, this scooter will definitely be the one to choose. That being said, I highly recommend this scooter now! ! !

The scooter showed its beautiful and durable qualities when it first arrived. The tires travel down our dirt driveway without getting deflected by rocks in the road. My son weighs 110 pounds, and it really goes well with him on it. It even pulled me around (nearly 190 pounds) with no problem. The batteries can last a long time, just make sure you allow enough time to recharge them when they run out of juice. It is quite stable even at full speed. Tires require 36psi to be fully inflated. If you use their free valve adapter, inflating will be easier. To pump tires, you need to remove the cover and install the adapter on the valve, and then you can use an inflator or electric inflator to inflate the tire. But take my advice and buy a good quality valve extension, made of metal and at least 3 or 4 inches long. Be careful when inflating as it doesn't require a lot of air to raise the pressure. Take your time and check often. The brake works on the rear wheel. Upon assembly it was already adjusted well and works well. It will be better if you shift your weight to the back of the scooter when parking. The motor is adjustable in speed and has three speed levels, which can be done through the function button. When you twist the throttle to different amplitudes, the motor will go different speeds. If you want to go slower at the beginning, choosing level 1. After you get used to it, you can consider higher speeds, and everything will be fun. This scooter cannot take off on its own from a complete stop and requires you to help it with your feet initially. The rear hub acts like a bicycle. Scooters do tend to slow down without power. There is a charging dock, two chargers and two batteries (so the two batteries can be charged separately and can be fully charged in only 4 hours), and the charger is easy to use. The stem battery can be charged on the charging dock, while the built-in battery under the pedal can only be charged through the charging port on the scooter. The charger has a light that can change from red to green, so you know when it's fully charged again. Just a warning here... I don't recommend chasing your dog on a scooter through the living room, down the hallway, and into the master bedroom. It can only end badly. My son has been riding the scooter for a while. Everything is fine with one exception. The kickstand accidentally fell off while riding and couldn't be put back together, I immediately contacted customer service and got a quick response. Make sure you have a pdf of your invoice so you can email it to them if you have any questions. After I provided all the information, they sent me the new kickstand. Installation is easy. The previous one couldn't be installed because one of the screws was missing...

I used to ride a scooter, which in my city was impossible to ride because the streets were cobblestone, and when I came home my whole body hurt. Lights are very powerful, 4 lights are distributed at the four corners of the pedal, so the light is very strong, and you can see clearly what is ahead. If you have a good temper, you may be as lucky as me to get these, of course, it is better not, I hope everyone is safe every day:) Apart from that accident, nothing has happened to this scooter. Maintenance is essential, and I prefer to go out by car on rainy days. The tire has a cool pattern, and if there's a lot of mud on it, I'll clean it off in time. If asked to give suggestions to improve the function of the scooter, I can put forward some humble proposals. One day, I was planning to go out then found the scooter won't mover with one battery no power and the other with a lot of power. I did not know that the scooter cannot be used in this case until I asked turboant. The scooter can start only when both batteries have power. I wouldn't mind buying another one if they would consider improving the design.

The speed 20 mph is more than enough for a city commute or just throughout the campus. The range is the best part and can go a few days without a charge. For the first 3 months, I can go almost 45 miles on a full charge, charging it one time per week is enough. The headlight is also a must and bright enough for riding in the dark nights. This thing is pretty heavy and not light weight, For someone who is looking for compact and easy-carrying scooters probably can't be the top choice. I am not a big guy, 5'37", 175 lbs so will account for that, It can take medium hills around the street where I cross through every single day. The acceleration is good to hit the top speed 20mph, while climbing the hills, it might not reach the ideal speed, probably 16-17 miles per hour, but it's not a big issue for me. We are very thrilled to have this V8 scooter. The scooter has been my primary mode of transportation and regular dates since it arrived. I have been very happy with it since it came out of the box. This scooter has been a joy and a blessing. Because it has everything I need. When I got my scooter I knew I wouldn't only use it for work or dates, but also to ride around our neighborhood and to a park that's two blocks from my house. I also ride the scooter to a nearby shopping center that's a little over a mile from my house, and to many other nearby places too. I really do like riding this scooter. It is really a lot of fun to ride. The scooter is built very well and looks nice. On a full charge, it will get up to 20 mph. It easily goes up on the majority of the hills I have tried. Every V8 comes with 2 batteries. To avoid the stolen matters, I buy a U lock. So when I park it outside, no one can steal my scooter. I usually use a U lock to lock the wheels and the iron rails together, so I park the whole car outside without any worries when needed. But more often than not, I am still cautious and will keep them in secure places for riding convenience. In addition, there are three Configured Riding Modes and it’s pretty easy to toggle with the single-button interface. The speed is a nice big number and the battery level is shown as well. Pretty simple interface. The handlebar is nice and thick. It provides a nice comfortable grip. The light is pretty bright and there are braking lights for nighttime riding. So it is worth my money. Here are the pros/cons: Pros: - No need to worry about flat tires if you choose the V8 scooter with pneumatic tires) -can climb hills very well, I still get 20mph on a bridge hill from work every day. - Saves money In the long run instead of gas/cabs/public transportation etc - One of the best bang for your buck commuter scooters - Keeps its power steady up until about 15% then you start losing top speed to 18mph Cons: - Limited to about 47 miles although 50 miles is advertised - Take the 50 miles to range with a grain of salt... I usually use it from the parking lot to the company and home. Really convenient! I purchased a Turboant V8 scooter for my daily commute and I've been using it for a few months, I'd like to share my opinions about the V8 scooter for my experience. Design The first thing I noticed with the TurboAnt V8 is how big it is. It’s not necessarily taller than other e-scooters, reaching a height of 45.5 inches (1155 mm) when unfolded. But, it has a much thicker stem than you’ll typically find on most e-scooters and a wider deck as well. There are a few reasons that it’s so heavy. The most obvious is that the TurboAnt V8 has two batteries. One of them is a removable battery in the stem and the other is in that wider deck. Since the V8 comes with two chargers, one of them a charging port for the removable battery, I can charge both at the same time. Charging both will take about four hours to reach full capacity. Also contributing to the weight is that wide deck, measuring 19.9 in (505 mm) by 6.9 inches (175 mm) which gives me plenty of space to place my feet no matter how I stand on it. I found it easy to shift our footing repeatedly while in motion. It also helps that the deck has a nice rubberized textured top for easy gripping. The LED display situated between the handlebars shows any pertinent information. A meter on the left side will display how hard you’re pressing the brake lever. A meter on the right will do the same for the throttle. It also displays which of the three riding modes you’re on, the speed, and how much battery is left. Unfortunately, the LED display is dim enough that it’s hard to see outdoors under strong light. To change any settings, you have to do a particular amount of presses on that power button. Long presses turn the V8 on and off. A single press turns on all the lights. And, a double press will switch between its three riding modes. Performance The V8 is a fairly smooth ride, and its dual braking system is responsive, while the TurboAnt V8 might not be small, its 450-watt motor is powerful enough to give a fairly smooth and zippy ride. Just a kick or two to get going and a push of the throttle and it picks up immediately. There are three riding modes: Eco Mode which tops out at 6 mph, Comfort Mode which tops out at 9 mph, and Sports Mode which tops out at 20 mph. Riding around in Eco Mode is fine when I'm on flatter streets and trying to conserve battery. But, I preferred using the faster settings. Though it’s the biggest energy hog of all the modes, I preferred keeping the V8 in Sports Mode and riding the throttle to stay at the speed I wanted. I tested the TurboAnt V8 in a hilly neighborhood that includes a 15-degree hill. Not only was it powerful enough, especially when used on that Sports Mode, for a smooth, easy ride but it was able to keep a speed of 5 MPH when going up 15-degree hills. Of course, as soon as a hill inclined more, the V8 had to be walked. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. It brings great convenience to my commute.
